WOW! Well impressed to say the least!  :D :D :D :D :D

First impressions: Surprised at how big the CT 34 is, and how small the Spirit is. Sheer quality - can't believe the "CLUNK" as the tools close on them!

Second impressions: Very impressed at how quickly I have wrecked the house with them....

Just wanted to say a quick "Thank You" to to the guys who recommended these tools. Off to bed now as I'm still on nights, but I'll post a few pics soon of me, my two toolage, and complete and utter destruction of a printing company that I work in, that shall commence at 20:00 hours GMT. (Not sure if that's like 15:00 Eastern, 14:00 Central, 13:00 Mountain and 12:00 Eastern, because we're on British Summer Time over here. If I'm wrong, remember I'm tooled up now and I can tighten nuts and loosen screws at anytime... But just think of the fun I shall have tonight!  :police:!)

"Let the games begin....!!!"

Regards

No problem- that's what we are here for!

I'm glad you like them (so far!) and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them in the future!

You've just spoiled yourself!  You'll never be satisfied with the "snap" of other tools again!

I hope you enjoy the CT34 and Spirit as much as I do.  Use that bit driver on the CT34 a few times and you'll be hooked.

What's up guys? Haven't been arrested or anything like that, although I did pop into Tescos last night after work with the Spirit attached to my belt... and there were 2 Police Officers in there dealing with a shoplifter. Its easy to forget its there really!

I've been real busy in work, plus my computer is playing up, so Im doing this on my phone which is a PITA, but its all I got at the moment.

Anyway, the tools are both doing a fantastic job. Just one tiny problem with the Spirit, in that it has a bit of play in the plier jaws - about 0.5 mm.  Will send it back for repair, but not just yet as Im having too much fun with it!

All the guys in work are equally impressed with both the Cybertool and the Spirit, and I find they get borrowed a lot now by my mates trying them out in different situtations. The knife on the Spirit  is a big winner here, as is the saw, which cuts through pallets with ease. Yep, wooden pallets - in half. It's so much fun that we have sawing competitions now!

At times I wish the head of the Spirit would open wider, but I guess I'll have to get the SwissTool now guys awell eh? Don't bother reponding to that.... I know what you'll say! Lol

All of my SwissTool models have slight play in the plier heads. Also, the locking tools as well..

Thanks for the info there. The locking tools have no play at all, so I'll keep an eye on it.

Well we had one today, and after doing a pallet in half, all I can say is "I was knackered!" Might set one up tomorrow. It's one of the very few times I've broken out in a sweat! And yes, the smooth handles were rather slippery to hold at the end! On my wifes laptop now, so might stick a pic or two of the tools up later!

Don't you mean "English mans" in general, as opposed to just a "Yorkshire mans"?  :twak:
Will send it off soon then me thinks.

A few pics -
The first is my CT34 compared to my old trusty cheepy clone from Halfrauds. Will bin her soon! lol
The second shows the CT34 in action up against 4mm grub screws on my machine in work - very handy!
The third, well lets just say that tin of soup didn't stand a chance...

Wow - give me a chance to finish typing! lol It folds paper basically - that's just a small bit of her. There's about 40 or so of those collars on the machine. You can't do jack without a 4mm allen key!

4th pic is my mates now shortened 2mm chrome vanadium swiss allen key, that had a life time warranty. Cleanly cut by the spirit. Shame that...
5th pic is the Spirit primed for the pallet derby.
6th pic... well no explanation needed! Good workout for both man and tool. Hope that dosent sound too rude!

Hey, I intentionally put a slight curve in the cut...  ::) Where it starts to curve is where I was losing all feeling in my hands and my arms were burning! lol

Took this video in work today showing the degree of movement in the plier head. I'm just doing a side to side movement - no up and down movement at all.
