So it's time for me to try and defray the cost of my work gear.  I've got 2 tools up for sale at this time.

'98 Swisstool
In used, but not abused condition.  Shows some cosmetic wear on the exterior, but the pliers and onboard tools are spotless.  Aside from a little of the paint rubbing off with carry, this tool is really holding up.  It has the original '98 plierhead and is a monster.  I originally bought it new in NYC for the full 100 bones.  I'd like to get $SOLD shipped CONUS for it.  If you have questions or would like to see pics, please PM me.  Make me an offer I can't refuse, and I'll certainly consider it.

Gerber MP600BN (Black Oxide)
In used, but not abused condition.  Bears the usual marks from carry and light use common with black oxide tools.  It comes with the integrated carbide cutters in the jaws, and blunt nosed pliers.  I will include the optional toolkit, as well as both nylon pouches, so the multi can be carried with or without the bit-kit.  I'm asking $SOLD shipped CONUS for the tool, bit-kit, and both pouches.

*International buyers are welcome.  If interested, please PM me and I can calculate a total prior to shipping.*

Trades Accepted (will add to the list if anything changes)
Swisstool RS
SOG EOD Powerlock 2.0
Hinderer Extreme Duty Pen

Trades do not need to be NIB, but preferably not abused.  I use my tools, and I wouldn't expect an NIB tool in exchange for a user.  Once again, please PM me if you are interested, or if you have questions.  Thanks for looking!

Samson, $70 bucks for a used SwissTool is not a very good price. You could buy a brand new one for less than that!

I'm afraid he is right.  :-\  Tim for example sells them for $60 here http://felinevet.sosakonline.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=155&category_id=d71e8207f18207d6e07f2a32bf5b8baa&option=com_phpshop&Itemid=27 and that includes shipping as well.

But do bear in mind that Tim's prices are exceptionally cheap.  :)
I'm back!!

Make him an offer if you are interested, but it really is up to the seller how much he or she wants to get from a sale.

Making another price drop across the board, how about $SPF for the Swisstool and $50 for the Gerber w/toolkit?

Make me an offer, these need to move.  :D

  • Plants should be smoked, not eaten.
If you're interested I have a regular SOG Powerlock(99% condition) that I'd trade for the Swisstool. It is NOT the EOD 2.0 though. Like I said, if you're interested. If not I understand.

When the tool is closed do the handles move at all?

On the Swisstool, the fit is still great, and if I'm twisting the handles a little, there is a minimal amount of play.  The Gerber has the same rattle since the day it was purchased.  Not so much play as it is a rattle of the sliding mechanism inside the handles.  I hope that wasn't too confusing, if it is, let me know.

But if the handles are closed and you jiggle the handles do they move up and down slightly?

On the Swisstool, no.  The Gerber? a little, but I've had Gerber tools the "jiggle" a little right out of the box.  ???

$45 for the Gerber, folks.  If this doesn't move, it's off to the Evil Bay.
