BO DIESEL
on: July 20, 2013, 07:59:39 PM
I normally only collect Leatherman MT's along with SAK's, so pardon my lack of knowledge on Gerber MT's.

A pawn shop near me has a BO Diesel with sheath for $20. There are no signs of use. Is $20 a good deal? I tried to flick it, the pliers only came out a little.

I noticed it is not stamped USA like the two 300's I have. Where are Diesels made?

I think the Diesel is made in Taiwan, but its generally considered to be a good tool.  I have no doubt that if you didn't like it you'd be able to make your money back off it pretty quick around here.

Thanks for the input. I picked it up. I'm not sure if I like it yet, but the price was right. If not, I'll keep it in my brief case for the few times at work I need a MT.

That's a great deal!  :tu:  And like Def said, if you don't like it, I'll give you $20 plus shipping for it in a heartbeat.  ;)

And then it will be an MP800, then an MPT, then you'll get interested in some of the very early Gerber Mts and before you know it you'll have a growing collection of them .....  :gimme:  :gimme:  :multi:

Hahaha...I went crazy over the weekend and bought the old and new (well, not so new really) versions of the mp700. And I was certain that I wouldn't like them at all... but this funny thing about gerbers have a way of making you want more ..
