On our travels from home (Nova Scotia) to Brampton Ontario, we drove through Quebec.  While there we went to Costco, and they had 60 pack of Coors light for $59!  Alcohol is stupid expensive home, so I bought a case :D

Cider picked up at a couple of farms in Normandy. I'll wait for my birthday before I break into the calvados and the pommeau.

I'm going to order a Drambuie and add Chivas Regal myself to make a Rusty Nail. Most Wiskeys in bars around here are adulterated and make me sick.

I got a selection of beers and I am working my way through them, after coming back from the beach at 10 PM.

Started with a few Hoegaardens then moved to a variety of Leffes (how can something so strong be so smooth?) and will then move to some London Pride. In case of any problems I have som Carlsbergs too...
I also intend to get up at 5 AM to chase some fish too...

Good call!  :tu:

I had a bottle of Becks with my brother earlier as I did the handover of keys and jobs to do for the boat. I worked all this weekend, and he's doing some light duties during the week for me.

I've worked all weekend and I'm pretty much shagged out - but I'll be unwinding with a rum and coke before bed  ;)

:twak: Pepsi just adulterates the booze.  ;)  And it's thinking like that that's the reason I don't drink anymore....  ::)

My dad's a rum and coke man.  I'm more of a beer guy, and I really like Sam Adams, but I don't really drink that much anymore.  It's more of an occasional treat when I pick up a variety pack (usually seasonal packs) and drink 1 or 2 at night.  Tasty brew and I like to make it last :tu:

I'd give that the response it deserves had I not just opened a nice bottle of Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon. It went nicely with the roast beef I made for supper.

Wine is a bit of an acquired taste.  When I was younger I couldn't stand it.  Nowadays a good wine is a great pleasure!  My wife doesn't drink wine, so I don't open a bottle often, but when I do I greatly enjoy it.  Unlike a lot of alcoholic beverages, wine does need to be finished within a few days of being opened or it oxidizes and starts to taste musty.
