Needless to say I soon got rid, sold it to a mate whose uncle was supposedly a game keeper - I did hear a tale not long after of a game keeper who had supposedly turned a deer over at 100 yds with a crossbow, my mate swears it was his uncle but the story was never verified.Crossbows, lethal things silent and deadly.

As for the hunting bit.....don't know if that was the case 25yrs ago??
I remember buying a pistol one similar to one seen in the Mad Max movies. Those were not very accurateOMG!I had one of those too - was it called the Trident?? I swapped a pair of ice skates for it. Lol, I remember shooting a bird think it was a pigeon....... the bolt bounced off its chest and the damn stupid bird just carried on!!
For some reason I missed all this crossbow talk. I own a Ten Point Pro Elite crossbow and hunt deer and turkey with it every year with much success. There's a lot to talk about when selecting a good crossbow Def.
Somehow, the picture of you stalking game with a crossbow, whilst disturbing, isn't one bit surprising
Thanks for the help Terry, but I think he's decided on a nice recurve crossbow. I can't remember which one he said, but if he has any further questions I'll be sure to send him your way.Def
