Any help with these markings?

This axe is on a local auction, the seller says its an 18/19 century Austrian axe,any idea if its authentic?

The date seems plausible to me, but I'm not an expert.  Depends on how much it is selling for and how much you are willing to spend.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

The starting bid is $180, I would love to have it but the price seems a bit steep for me,I'll probably hold out a bit and see if they drop the price.
