Review SOG BO Micron Tanto

As one of the luck winners of a SOG BO Micron Tanto, I thought I should review it to provide answers to others who might want to buy one.
(understand I have never done a review, so make sure your expectations are low)

First thing I noticed was how light it was,  I knew it was small, but even though it was still in the blister, and it came in a 6 inch by 4 inch bubble mailer, I did not think it was heavy enough to contain a knife.

I was wrong  :facepalm:

the knife is very small, and weighs half an ounce!

It was very sharp out of the package, passed a paper cut test with ease.

I love Tanto blades because it allows me to put full flat contact against an item (scraping a windshield for example).

The lanyard hole is large enough to use paracord for making a lanyard.

The only negative I see is the knife does not lock open, but seems secure enough for a knife that size.  As long as you use it within its means, you should be fine.

I love this little knife, and I am surprised how nice a knife it is considering the size.  it is very thin about 3 milometers.

For an example of how small, I now have a good use for that little pocket on the nylon Leatherman sheath.

That is a very small knife indeed.
 I have made the mistake of not checking the actual size of a knife when I buy online, and have been surprised more than once by how small or big the knife/tool turned out to be.
( the Last tme was yesterday, when I got my gerber balance. I somehow imagined it beeing a pretty small tool. I was wrong :facepalm:)

I had one of the non-tanto ones a few years back and really liked it.  I gave it to a friend who liked it even more though. :D

I find specs to be very bland.  I can read lengths, weights etc online but still be surprised at the size and heft (or lack thereof!) of a knife when it arrives.  Numbers on paper don't mean much to me I guess.

I knew the knife was small, but I can't believe how lightweight this thing is!  I was thinking of doing a side-by-side review with one of the small Spyderco knives, either the Bug or the Honeybee...
