"New" Wave assembly order
on: August 08, 2013, 09:52:00 PM
On the "new" wave (the current one), I have taken apart the bit holder/can opener section and don't know where the tiny washer goes upon reassembly:
between the bit holder and the can opener?
between the bit holder and the side plate
between the can opener and the side plate
As I'm sure you all know, Leatherman refused to tell me.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First off, welcome to the forum.

The washer goes between the bit holder/driver and the can opener. It's there to prevent tool clumping so if you pull out the bit driver the can opener stays in place or vice versa. :D

Hope it helps. :salute:

That's actually where I put it, but I wanted to make sure my thinking was correct.
Thank you.
