Busy making my magnetized one.
I'm going try make the bit removable so put less epoxy in the jack and letting the magnet set in 1st.

Will see how it goes :)

Sweet!   I to have been trying to solve the removable bit issue,  no firm solution yet

Got it right (Idea I tried before didn't work)

Wasn't sure how at 1st, but eventually decided to take a change, take a bit holder and cut the back off with a hack saw

Used your idea of putting a washer by the paracord

The rest is pretty much the same as before.

Put some epoxy in the jack cover and shoved the cut bit holder in

Finished Result

Very nice mod, I like the latest design even better than the first!  Thanks to this, I now know what to do with wasted audio jacks in the future.  :D :tu:

Thanks guys.  :tu .

It started with Detron's mod. Did the same but coated the back of the bit with oil and pulled it out the epoxy
Worked well but I could see the epoxy would not last. (bit got wedged after 1st hard use)

That's when I decide to try the bit holder above:)

Thanks!:D
That's how I started. I use to do sound Engineering and built a collection from repairs
