knife suggestions???A combo edge friend for a black oxide Rebar.

I'd like to hear some suggestions from my mto member friends. I am pondering getting a black dlc or black oxide coated 3 to 4inch folding knife.

my black oxide rebar needs a friend. A black one.
things I like

tip up clip
good steel s30v,440c,1095c,aus8,vg10,154cm,zdp189,USA Kershaw are steels I've used and like.
made in USA always preferred
medium weight.
strong lock
one hand opening and unlocking
75.00 to 125.00
quality fit and finish
and of course looks.

a black manix 2 is kinda what I'm leaning towards but its a bit wide in pocket and also a little heavy.

First thought would be a Spyderco Native, but you may find a black bladed Para-Military at the top end of your budget as well.

I should mention I own a black native serrated already but a plane edge Native might be cool. I've yet to see a plane native in real life. I might just have to get try one.


I wish they made a combination edge Para 2 .

the S30V version of the Kershaw Blur is a great knife that falls in your price range... not sure if it's available in a CE blade though.

+1 on the Blur.  I have two, a CE tanto and a PE with a normal tip.  They are both great carry knives.  The AO action is smooth as usual for Kershaw.  The s30v model is not available in a CE blade, but the Sandvik 14C28N steel that is available in CE is a good steel that takes and holds an excellent edge.
