That's what MODS are for. Save some money and get one made.  :tu:

+1 - Amen to that.  I highly recommend getting a custom SAK :tu:

how much to have one made?

I like the idea though
If I can help, let me know

Contact Syph007. He's a forum member here. On the knives he has done for me, the work was outstanding.

Shoot him a PM describing what you want and he will give you an estimate. He also can offer options that perhaps you didn't think of.

What Joe58 said :tu:  Syph made my Mechaneer and Yeochamp, and both are excellent.  He's very good to work with, and very helpful in the planning process.

Damn you guys, I'm in a group of enablers...

Anyways, as my next SAK will be the SwissChamp, I guess the next one after that will be the Electrician

Yes, yes you are >:D  I love the utility blade as well, and here is my custom, the Mechaneer.

See what reading this post made me do     Now I get to wait for it to arrive from Canada  :mail:

Nice Jetbo...hey that looks kinda familiar;).  Yours would be a little thinner than mine with scissors instead of pliers.

A little thinner but not much seeing I have been carrying a cadet most of the time.  I bet it going to seem huge at first but I will get used to it, sorry for steering the post a bit off topic  ;)

Oh yeah, it will seem thick, but it's still not as thick as a 4 or 5 layer cellidor, maybe even 3.

This might sound stupid but why doesn't the Electrician have the smaller screwdriver/can opener? Is it hard to mod it into an Electrician? You would think an electrician would have use for multiple screwdrivers..
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Because it has the electrician's blade, the short one with the scraping scallop.

I imagine the awl and the can opener were probably the two on the chopping block, but the awl would be more useful to someone who has a tool kit with him, like an electrician might.

Victorinox used to make a model called the Technician, which was basically an alox soldier/pioneer except that it had a dedicated small screwdriver in place of the standard can opener tool.  I agree that one knife blade plus two screwdrivers would probably be a more useful tradesman's tool that two knife blades plus one screwdriver.  Too bad the Technician is discontinued and semi-rare...

Those are rather nice Marius :tu:  I like both utility and pruner blades, but I think they're a bit much when it makes for 3 blades on a 2 layer SAK.  Still freakin' cool looking though, and I would get one if I could spare the $$ and didn't have other things I wanted first :tu:

Add a pair of factory mounted scissors in the middle and it would be the absolutely perfect SAK for me. Well, plus deleting the ring :D

I have a vintage old cross one with brass liners.

While I like that little utility blade quite a lot, I miss the Phillips more, so the Soldier or Pioneer is a more well-rounded knife, in my opinion.

My favorite combo would be a Pioneer with a scissors and file added. Maybe just the scissors. Skip the saw, for a change. ;)

I would love to get mine modded with HAIII scales .

These are my three Electricians two Vic's and a Camillus TL 29 I saved from a rusty toolbox at the flea market.

A few months I changed all plugs and switches in my condo. I did a few plugs with 84mm Electrician. It striped and bent fine but slow. The Phillips screwdriver was a pain. This is my go to setup.
