Alox Classic Question
on: August 22, 2013, 08:07:39 PM
I know that some of the Alox knives are built heavier in the blades and tools than the cellidor.  Does this include the Classic too?

First of, welcome to the forum. :waving:

If you have time drop by our new members subforum and tell us a bit about yourself, what tools, knives you have or are planning to acquire, ... so we can give you a proper MTO welcome. :D

As for the ALOX Classic.

No. The tools on the 84mm (Cadet) and 58mm (Classic) ALOX models are the same thickness/size as their cellidor counterparts. The 93mm (Pioneers) have heavier/thicker tools then the 91mm cellidor models.

Sorry to say it does not. :(  It is only the 93mm Alox that get the thicker blades, all the smaller sizes (58mm, 74mm and 84mm) get the same blade as their Cellidor counterparts.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum.

enki beat me to it. ::)
