very nice find,  if you give us some more info on that Vic, I am sure we can figure it out.  I do find it odd that it has a combo tool, and a scissor spring that looks to be older than the combo tool by 10+ years.

I guess you can have flea markets year around where you are.  not where I am

our wind chill tonight is -25 F (-31 C)

it turns out its a golfer minus the long nail file which would have made it a killer find.

I believe the scissor spring has simply broken in half, would be my guess.

you are correct.  I saw that when I picked it up and always wonder how does this break??

Ok so the really fun thing I found today was this computer backpack by Swissgear/Wenger for $15.
Looks to have been used very little but I will put this to use big time.

I have been very lucky indeed.  The warm weather also makes it year round hunting as well.

I've been wanting a hydration pack and today I found one.  It's a Camelbak 3L/100oz pack brand spanking new at that for less than $20.  I tested out the bladder and all accompanying part and its it perfect working order.  This will work our great and now I don't have to carry so much water when I hike.

I have no experience with snow or cold weather and those temps would have my body freaking out.  I seriously cannot even imagine leaving the house in that let alone what I'd need to wear.  I was in jeans and a T Shirt today and only put on a hoodie a few hours ago.  That weather certainly makes y'all hardier out that way for sure.

Haha well I only know this weather so for me its same ole same.  I'd love to see some seasonal change but I'll take the blue skies over snow.  I can drive a few hours in the winter and get some awesome man made snow though

Take away all the new stuff and the food sellers and then all the junk and there is some cool stuff.  I have been very lucky with what I have found.  I go sometimes and don't see a MT or SAK for weeks though. Fleabay has been better hunting grounds.

I've been working a lot so I haven't really been out to my local fleamarket.  I went recently and found a few cool items.

Anza Tracker dated 2012, this is a cool knife that I had been looking at getting.  It's made from a file and fitted with handles.  There are some good videos on the process  but they seem to be some pretty tuff knives.  This one has some regrinding on the front edge but its not a big deal as this will be my camp knife.  I'll need to fix the edge and then its ready to use.  I was totally stoked it had the sheath.

Spyderco Tenacious, It was a bit rusted but cleaned up well tho I cannot get the blade centered.  I have 3 washers on one side and one on the other so I may play with it a bit more.  There is a name engraved on it so I guess no one wanted it and I picked it up for $5.  It'll make a good beater so I could care less about the centering or name.

I got my first Fenix light PD32.  I'll need to check out the specs but it's not a bad size tho I generally prefer AAA/AA lights.  There weren't batterie so for $6 so I really cannot say too much right?

Ok it works and from what I've read its the 6 mode version 340lm.  I like it, as if I wasn't gonna like a cool light for $6.  I posted in the flashlight thread about possibly getting into Li-ion batteries and here I am.  I think I'll get a 18650 ( Specs show I can use it ) vs the (2) cr123a's I bought.   I wonder now what world I've stepped into
