very nice find, very nice.  You have a good fleamarket!

I do love buying beaters on ebay, and spending a few hours making them nice again, so I know how good you felt when you were able to end up with a nice usable MT at the end!
If I can help, let me know

uh  umm it will be stowed away and coveted.  I enjoy cleaning them up as well and this one did clean up very well.  I spent some time going through my other MTs today as well and making sure they are well oiled and weren't rusting while in storage.  there is something very relaxing about the process.

Cool finds dude. I wish I was into collecting MT while living down south. There is a weekly massive flea market in the area where I was living. What a great way to collect. Keep it up man.

I haven't had much to post but today was a good day.

I love to have extra Leatherman leather sheaths so I was happy to see this one though I wish there was something awesome inside.  The Gerber light I have been wanting and actually have one sitting in a cart online.  I'm very happy to have found this and was super stoked it actually worked.  You all know by now I love maglights and seeing the XL50 was awesome so I had to go home with it.  It had batteries in it and is in pretty nice condition which makes me very happy.  The SAK I believe is a Champion ( older one huh? ) and is pretty dirty and has some rust but I think it will clean up nicely.  Its sitting in WD40 now and I'll post up more pics once I get it up to snuff.

I finally found a Gshock YAY.  This is a DW5600E module (1545) which followed the DW5600C and making its debut in 95' I believe.  Classic Gshock look on this one so although it came without a battery or gasket so I was a bit nervous it wouldn't not work.  I installing a fresh battery and then I reset it and it sprung to like showing the date 95' on the display which was pretty cool.  Thanks for looking

Great finds as usual! I really need to get back out to the Flea Markets. I feel like i'm missing out.  :twak:

That SAK is pretty rusty, but I love a project and it feels that much better when you get a old SAK in proper working order again.

YES I AM! I love that these lights are so efficient with batteries.  I was worried this might not work but a fresh battery and back to life she came.

Thanks, It's been a while but yeah this was a good day.  I especially like the Gerber light and Maglight, some fresh batteries installed and they are in service.

I wouldn't use it as a standard choice but it's great to have that option in a pinch. ;)

That's some fantastic buried treasure you found. I love the classic style of the older G Shocks. That one looks really good.   8)

Thanks,  you can see where the trout was imprinted but has since wore off.  This tool is missing the scale tools which is what caught my attention.

very nice find,  if you give us some more info on that Vic, I am sure we can figure it out.  I do find it odd that it has a combo tool, and a scissor spring that looks to be older than the combo tool by 10+ years.

I guess you can have flea markets year around where you are.  not where I am

our wind chill tonight is -25 F (-31 C)

I believe the scissor spring has simply broken in half, would be my guess.
