family picture of my maglites
on: August 31, 2013, 01:27:24 AM
so its a small family but I have 3.  I got my 2D Maglite about 15 years ago and "upgraded" it to LED tho the lumen is about 30 I believe.

my Maglite mini 2AA has the disco modes and is about 70 lumen. I got 2 as a set and keep one in my truck and the other at bedside.

I got the solitaire recently to complete this trio.  its used and the incandescent bulb is all but shot as well as the lens but I like it.

I'm a big fan of Maglite too.  I've been EDCing a mini Maglite Pro+ for over a year.  I've got to try to get a picture of the family.  :)

something about the maglites I guess.  I have a few other lights but these make me smile.  I was stoked to get the mini mag leds in a 2 pack for under $15US on clearance at wallyworld, all they had was blue or black so I got blue obviously and I really like the color.  the solitaire came from the fleamarket as part of a LM wave purchase and my friend didn't want it so I jumped all over it. it was cool that its blue as well and my other mags have a baby now.  haha

the low lumen on the solitaire is great when not wanting to disturb anyone sleeping.

Maglite fan here as well. I did not take photos of mine though... (as I do with SAKs lately). All the ones that I am currently using are LEDs. I have on LED right now one with 4 Ds, couple with 2Ds (my favorites for the larger size), several (I think at least three) 2 AAs, one 1 AAA, and a Solitaire too. Still have a pile of older ones on bulbs that I did not convert to LED. Oldest that I still have (a dual D) I bought new in '96.

glad to see Maglite fans.
the blue mini mag tends to get used most often as I have one in my truck. I have been pocketing the solitaire just because I like it.
