That's easy Get A Way Driver. It was made with a removable bit holder that allows the Zilla Jr to use standard sized bits. :D

How about the SOG MT's in the three most common finishes:

SS, BO and TiN ?   (I don't count the almost-mythical tiger-stripe as those are so rare most people will never actually handle one in the metal)

That's a slippery slope Greg, if we go down that route then most things become a possibility.
No, I insist!! Three's the magic number - there can only be three.

What do we have so far..

LM Supertool, ST200, ST300
Victorinox Butane Lighters (Campflame, Swissflame, XXLT)
Paladin 510, 525, 540
LM Zytel Blast, Fuse, Kick
LM Pruners Genus, Vista, Hybrid
Spyderco Spyderench PE, SE, Combo
LM Charge Ti, XTi, TTi (all share identical scales)
Wenger Blackout 63, 52, 10
Wenger Titanium I,II,III
LM Skeletool plus SX and CX versions

Am I right in thinking there were only 3 Wenger Metal (50, 51, 799) with the plain brushed finish (no inlay)

There's got to be more  I need more...more :ahhh :ahhh

woah, necrothread!

Anyway, I don't think the Core can be ignored. Either you have Kick/Fuse/Blast and the Core becomes part of the Supertool series (the ST 250) or you have three Supertools (1, 200, 300) and Kick/Fuse/Blast/Core. Given the naming, I'd go with the latter.

There are other numbers too.
5 Squirts: S4, P4, E4, PS4, ES4.
5 crappy identical Gerbers: Resolve, Suspension, Crux, Method, and Tread.
5 Charges: AL, ALX, Ti, TTi, XTi

I could go on.

Freestyle, Freestyle CX, Skeletool, Skeletool CX, Skeletool SX...

I think there is three Schrade Vise Grips

Cheers Al

Would that be normal, needlenose and curved??
I'm not up on Schrades!

Kind of ... 5WR, ST6, 6LC ... there appears to be minor variations on some/all of them, but essentially they are the three "types". I'm not exactly wise about them myself, but there's lots of threads here with plenty of info. I have an ST6 variation - forgot which one  and a 6LC, and I am (thankfully) not pursuing the 5WR (which apparantly is a real chuff to track down)

In addition there are the three new Vise-grip multi-pliers, 6LN, 5WR and 5CR.

I'd say another triplet would be...

LM Wingman, Rev, Sidekick (essentially the three entry level Leatherman, all with clip and outside accessible tools, similar construction...)

in my opinion, another triplet would be

SOG PowerPlier, Powerlock, Pocket`PowerPlier for having very similar looks, toolset, functioning and mechanisms
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

Well, if we are into necrothread revival mode I'll just have a look at my spreadsheet and see what legit contenders I see ......

I'm surprised the three BuckTools didn't make the official list:  350, 355, 360
(they were mentioned early on in this thread)

There are also the three different sizes of Bear Jaws MT;  Mini BJ, BJ and Super BJ    :pok:

How 'bout Gerbers with Multi-Lock handles ?  MP400, MP600, MP650  ?   :pok:  :pok:

Except for one of the Schrades. Twice its come up and twice I looked away. Clearly my obsession has waned.

Which Schrade do you need ?   If you are keen maybe we can do a trade ?

I could never get a decent 6LC, and it was the first that I started looking for... :P
I got a 5WR, two ST6, a Crunch and two Kershaws A100 during the hunt but no 6LC which was the one I originally wanted to get

Hi Greg
Having reread the post I think i got myself mixed up.
I have 5 schrades. Don't ask me to give the numbers. I'm so behind with details like that these days. I have both the regular versions with different blades, Both the Needlenose version with different blades and 1 Curved jaw blade with the drop point blade, so I guess its the Sheepsfoot version I'm missing.  But truth be told I haven't even looked inside my Schrade box for well over 2yrs!!
I'm just not that focused these days. I had a little binge before Christmas, buying several missing MT's & SAK's and was stunned when I sat down and worked out how much I'd blown
As for the trade...I only have 1 of each model in  my collection, so trading would be pretty pointless as I'd then be constantly on the lookoiut to replace it - But cheers for the offer.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I think I have multiples of each main variant of the Schrade Toolboxes (5WR, ST6, 6LC), so I don't want (or need) another Schrade, but it sounds like you aren't keen anyway.  No problem  :tu:
