Pharmacy multitool.
on: September 08, 2013, 02:20:54 AM
I was installing a new computer at dad's pharmacy today and noticed a neat little tool in one of his stations. I worked for a long time as a pharmacy tech and I would of liked this when I was working.

It's basically a pharmacy counting spatula with a SAK style handle.

I took some photos for you guys.

A Philips driver, a Warney blade, small flat driver something very specific to pharmacists, a hook for removing the cotton from pill bottles.

Here's another hook from another spatula (it's spring loaded)

Very cool Metro. I have no need for one, but I really like mission specific knives like that.  :tu:

Doesn't Vic has a similar one in one of their giant models? Probably not practical to use though.

Neat! I love seeing specialized tools, especially something a little more mundane and outside of the first response area. :tu:

There are also two thinner models, blue scaled 91mm Vic Climber with spatula made for Hewlett Packard and I'm thinking there's at least another one but can't remember at the moment.

Very cool finds, Eric. :2tu: Do the tools have any maker stamps? Do you know who made them? The advertising suggests they are promotive items as I recognise the names. How's the build quality?
