im with you Boss man all the way, I don't like being told what to do either especially when its just plain silliness.
what about the women thread for those 2 or 3 of us that still want our boobie fix that is link only???? no uploads of pictures and mind you im no computer guy but wouldn't that save server space too?  link the picture since most came from google searches anyway.  again what do I know.

If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

We can always dress our multitools suspenders and feathers and stare at them. My Spirit has excellent legs and perfect skin, and she never claims she has a headache. Always ready and willing.
This would be Google permissible I asume.

I think a lot of the problem wasn't with the content of the pics themselves but with the linking to less than family friendly sites.

That makes more sense, as linking a semi nude from a newspaper will not apear to Google to be as bad as linking a clothed picture from a porn site.

Maybe the best option, at the time, would have been to download the picture and upload it to the forum, so that there would not have been a direct link to a nude site. Of course then the forum may be accused of stealing pictures..

We are sure you will sort something out Chief

That's what I was thinking the problem might be...easy to get around, just copy the picture you want to post to your Photobucket etc and link from there ;)

Google seems to be on the warpath theese days.  A sportinggoods webshop over here recently was told that they will be banned from google advertising because they had hunting clothes on their front page....

whoa, my link idea was clearly off base, see I told you I didn't know squash Im here for MT/SAK porn anyway  :multi:  :sak:

im in complete support of ditching the thread and I reiterate we came here with the intent of talking MTs/SAKs.  while I have enjoyed all the other non tool topics I wouldn't be as active if those werent my primary focus.  the men out number the women here so its a kick to have a thread like the women thread but to me its not at all why I am here and why I want to be here.  guys will be guys and eventually talk leads to women but I can get that chat anywhere so I don't need it here plus since im on the web I can view any number of tarty sites I like.

I get not wanting google to dictate what topics can be on this site and the threat of loosing cash sucks but I look at it as simply that cash helps relive the burden to make this place exist.  i hate to think the burden affects the boss in anyway so again it was a fun thread but not worth it imo anyway.

At any rate, I too do support what the boss decided.  It is not easy to maintain a site like this, and personally, I will not want to trouble our admins to have more headaches to maintain this site, and much rather to let go of a lower priority thread to keep things smooth.

I guess we'll just be a group that likes to look at, and fondle our SAK's and tools!     I do have to say that I did like to have my SAK in hand while looking at the Women Thread though!

Honestly though, I didn't mind the thread being here, but I also really don't mind it being gone.  The income from Google is far better for this site than us being able to  over this thread.

I don't mind the thread being gone, but I really don't like the ad network dictating the site... especially while showing me date adverts with pictures pretty much the same style as the one in the thread in question. Double standards combined with the chilling hand of forced self-censorship annoys me.

Ah, well. The ad network sells eyeballs and can do business with whoever they like. If MT.o needs the revenue, them's the breaks.

I'm in the camp saying ditch the thread. Better that than some hacked up version that needs constant editing to remain compliant. Given the amount of free pr0n available on this internet I'm sure we can find all the drool worthy women necessary...

But I agree with those chaffing against being told how we must operate. Our world is chock full of petty dictators.

Most of the photos I linked to in the Woman Thread were from Facebook which has pretty strict rules anyway ;)

I have this picture in my head of the admin and the moderators carefully examining each picture and video posted in the women's thread in the past, analysing it, seing where it came from, discussing it and deciding whether it should stay or not... Sounds like an enjoyable task.  :D

I have been keeping close watch on this thread, and

 :worthless:

We are on page 2, and I didn't see anything relevant to the titles but a bunch of grown men gathering around ranting with their tools in hands...at the rate we are going the title should read 'no women thread' :D
