Nothing? nothing at all? I don't know anything about SAK's and all i wanna know is if 'stainless steel japan' is a normal thing to have written on the blade.

It's not a Swiss Army Knife, just a Japaneses clone...
To be a SAK it must be made by either Victorinox or Wenger. (which is now owned by Vic)

If you're looking for SAK info check out these sites. The SAKwiki has the most info available on the web, though it sometimes takes a bit of digging. The Swiss Army Knife Collector site has some good info on tang markings; check under Victorinox and Wenger.
