Ganzo G704 knife-very nice and really clean! Among the knives made in China, I rate this particular
knife, 9 out of 10!

Very nice.  I have one, and I agree-it's my favorite China made folder from any company.  The F&F on mine is excellent, opening and closing is very smooth, and the lockup is solid.  It takes and keeps a decent edge, and is easy to sharpen.  I think I'll take mine to work tomorrow.  :tu:

I have a couple of the original , thinner , ones . I find them too heavy for my use, but fine quality wise. The SRM 763 is lighter and is the one I  carry when I want a folder of this type. I had it clipped to my shorts most off this summer. And it has a bottle opener too. But it is a bit ugly

Nice Ganzo you have Gene. I have tried many China knives before and I retained only three that I like.

Sanrenmu 710
I like this knife because of its all metal construction and very fine workmanship.

Navy K-628
Rugged construction. This is the most used (but not abused) knife that I have. It's a bit heavy but still ok with me.

RR
Also fine construction but a bit hard to open because of its stiff spring.

I agree with Eddie about the 710, I still have about half a dozen of them stashed away and two users. ;) Regretfully exduct changed their pricing and shipping policies and the prices went up. ::) More than twice the amount than on the old site for some models.

Gene, could you take a pic of that Ganzo next to your Griptilians? :salute: I wonder how they relate sizewise. I'm nut sure about the swedge though. :-\

Thanks! :hatsoff:

So they do follow the design of the Grip a bit. ;) Might have to try one of those some day. :D

that's a very good knife ---even by outdoors standards. I tried batoning one (i know, i know...yeah bad move) and the lock up is still as good as a bank vault! great pictures Gene! I  wonder why my knife doesn't look as good as yours...I guess i truly suck at taking pictures

cheers bro!
Cheers,

Here's the G701 with the G704.  Another very good knife, very well made, solid lockup, decent blade.  :tu:

SRM 783 is still my favourite, great rendition of the Axis lock on that knife as well.

Got another Ganzo knife. This time it's a black one.  A G702 black blade and handle:

Now I have two Ganzo knives! I quite like the workmanship of these knives.
