I'm looking into buying the Leatherman Crater, the one with screwdrivers, but I'm a bit afraid it's gonna be too thick. Can anyone post some comparison pics with some SAK's or something?


General thoughts on it are appreciated, too  :tu:

I had the same worry so I just bought the LX version. I carry a a wingman everyday so I didn't need the T. 
Leatherman tools: Surge, Kick, Freestyle, Wingman, Style CS, C33LX, REBAR, OHT, Supertool 300, Wave
Victorinox tools: Alox Farmer, Classic SD
Gerber tools: Flik

I don't own a Crater C33t (I bought one for my father some time ago) but I do own a Crater C33l (the one without the screwdrivers) and an Expanse E33t, which is the same size as the C33t.  They are all very nice, I carry my C33l and my E33t a lot when I carry my Spirit, my ST300 or my Rebar, so I have a OHO knife on me  ;).

Here are some pics of my E33t next to my Swisschamp and my Explorer.

Still looks like it's a bit on the thick side, but maybe I should just try it for myself... ::)

        I had a C33tx (serrated blade) and it was fantastic. Very sharp and would cut through nearly anything. I kick myself for misplacing that.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

The phillips looks a lot thicker on the Leatherman than on the Victorinox. I'm guessing sturdier, but not as good for small screws?

It looks just like a standard Leatherman phillips like is found in the Kick/Fuse/Blast/Rebar etc... Just a bit shorter.
