I only see one. And I find it hard to believe you of all people only just now got a red OC Farmer. What am I missing here?

The ones I was seeing were $250+ then things changed. Bought a nice EDC off Steve and two minty ones for around 125 ea.  I already had an Old Cross Farmer but not a "minty" one.

Just went back and looked. It appears there were only 10 large Sebenza, 17 small Sebenza, and 17 Mnandi River of Fire damascus blades made as part of a special run.  Happy hunting.

My holy grail would be the very first edition of a 84mm 'tourist'- should have 4 pins and be produced around 1900, the smaller brother of my profile pic. If someone came across that knife, I'd be most grateful ....

Which '74 did you get?  Victorinox produced a very limited number on 1974 and I don't think any were supplied to the military- at least not officially.  Wenger provided most of the military requirements that year and I believe a third company (Rothlisberger if I'm not mistaken, which I very well could be) also produced some.

I have an AMEFA KL74, a 1974 Camillus Demo knife and two '74 Wenger SI's- one with a Waffenkontrol stamp and one without.

If you found a 1974 Vic then that is something to be very proud of!

It is I believe, a Wenger. Advertised on a local auction site back home as a 'Swizz army knife'. It is still in the mail to my parents place, should arrive anytime now. It will still be a couple of months before I get my hands on it, no current plans to fly over for a visit.

A 1974 Wenger is certainly nothing to sneeze at either.  Neither of mine were very easy to get a hold of, and represent a lot of years of wheeling and dealing.

Congratulations on being a hell of a lot more efficient than I am!  :P

Mine would be an '83 PST (which I actually had, my Dad's, which we bought for him but I lost years later), or a SAK that was actually on the MacGyver show.

My Holy Grail is a good set of pliers with a great blade that is at least 3.5inch, all other tools are optional, as long as there are not too many because I want a fairly light tool.
I have not looked too terribly hard but the Leatherman Skeltool is sort of what I am looking for but definitely without the caribiner on it.  I am also on a tight budget, so that doesn't help.  Has anyone seen my Holy Grail?

I have not looked too terribly hard but the Leatherman Skeltool is sort of what I am looking for but definitely without the caribiner on it.  I am also on a tight budget, so that doesn't help.  Has anyone seen my Holy Grail?
