I don't personally but a colleague does and swears by it it has been used for everything inluding starting a stolen JCB which had been abandoned in a housing scheme
Yup (ish), when i ride my bike it comes with me, usually in my bag (if i'm going to uni) or on my belt with a couple of hex bits in the sheath it if i'm on a ride.
What's a JCB?And I'd like to know how a Crunch can start one!
Not rightly sure myself but he is an ex army engineer and swears that one of the smaller tools on the Crunch functions as a universal igntion key for all heavy plant machinery
Yo Jsews, is it cooler to EDC a Kershaw than a Crunch then?
well i do use my crunch almost everyday,i love that 1/4" driver in it,its useful in motorcycling, when u dont have to carry many ratchets etc, just the crunch and few sockets.
mountain bikes and fixed gear track bike most of the time, since my motorcycle is in pieces now,i have triumph speed triple streetfighter and harley davidson xlch"ironhead",totally modified, frame is selfmade, engine has been stroked, race cams, its kind of Zero style, with board track bike influences.
Funny this thread came back up now- I've been seriously contemplating pressing my Crunch back into service. While it may be limited in other functions, I have found myself over the last few weeks wishing I'd brought it with me while doing different things because locking pliers would have been a serious benefit. Other than trying to take the doors of my Jeep, I can't think of anything else I would have wanted them for off the top of my head, I just remember thinking that!I dug it out earlier today to add it to the EDC rotation.Def
