Thanks guys :salute:

Nice shots of the Rebar Monrogue. Looks like you're having some nice weather in your neck of the woods.

Here's a pic of my Core from earlier today, it's not nearly as sunny here.

Nice pic :tu:  Yeah, it had to easily be 60 degrees or so today, rather mild for early November.

Monrogue, you must have really strong winds in your parts to have to reinforce pine trees with rebar. :o

:D

It was rather windy yesterday actually, but the trees usually do alright without rebar reinforcement ;)

Very cool Kyle :tu: A Rebar on rebar :ahhh :ahhh

Nice pics, Monrogue.  :tu:  Do you wear it in the original sheath with the Photon hanging to the outside or do you carry it lose in the pocket?

Thanks Doc :salute:  I carry it loose in my left leg cargo pocket.  I don't sheath carry, although I have considered it during the wreathing season.  It would be difficult to get to though as it would be covered by the big fleece I wear.  Plus I usually have gloves on, which would make it that much trickier (for me anyway).  The cargo pocket is big and loose enough that I can slip my gloved hand in and grab it.  The light is only there in case I need it after dark as I'm usually still outside doing things and sometimes have poor lighting.  I'm not a fan of having something attached to the Rebar like that, and not a fan of the lanyard loop to begin with as I see it as wasted space, but I suppose it's serving a purpose for now ;)

And we all may as well get used to the usual backgrounds you've seen so far as that's what I'll be heavily involved in for the next several weeks.  Although I don't have to go up the next couple days.  It's mainly going to be a couple nights during the work week, and then the weekends.

Have you considered the sheath that you can leave the pliers open? Like this

Nice Crunch pic JA :tu:

@CLMF:  I'm pretty close to outside there.  I'm standing in the small building where we keep most of the brush poles, and it's wide open.  Plus I had privacy to take pics without someone looking out the window and wondering what I'm doing ;)

@Terry:  I had not considered a sheath like that, but I just don't think sheaths would work for me.  I think it would get bunged up in my multiple layers as I have to keep warm since I'm outside most of the time.

I took the Crater with me yesterday instead of the OHMRT, so here are some pics:

About to cut down a tree and pry open a cooler (of beer )...yeah I got bored.  It gets like that sometimes.

Haha, that pic isn't mine, but I do have the Crater :)  I do get good use out of it when I carry it, but I don't really carry it much anymore.  Having it clipped in my pocket interfered with carrying a SAK in the change pocket of the right front pocket as it was in the way when I would reach in.  I could always clip it in my back pocket like I do the Wingman though, and carry a smaller MT in the change pocket (like the PST or SOG PPP, or Juice KF4) and a SAK.  That could work, or I could just carry it in the change pocket with the SAK and not worry about the clip

I've never owned a Crater. Looks like it would be good to use though. I remember when it came with a bit driver which I found intriguing. It would be very useful and compact compared to a full or heavy duty LM plus, back then I had no need or interest in it, now that most of them are retired I want one. I guess it's sorta like the Kf4 thing. I didn't care for it when they had them on the market but now they're hard to get, I love 'em!¡!

Great pics guys  :tu:.

I like the Crater/Expanse series very much, they're a part of my EDC set-up when I carry a tool that doesn't have a OHO blade on it (which is most of the time, since my favorite tools are the Spirit and the Rebar).

Thanks :salute:  Where did you get that idea to carry a OHO blade with your non-OHO multitools?  That's the stuff of genius :pok:

You really take awesome pics by the way :tu:
