Oh right, thanks, they sound pretty decent.

I used to edc my silver Farmer on my keys, and yeah it does give the finish a bit of a battering :-\, those belt suspendertypethingies are brilliant though :)

To me, a 93mm is way to big to go on keys.  That's why God invented 58mm's.  ;)

Well said.  Don't people realize how quickly you can damage the ignition in your car with all that weight on a keychain?

Here's how I EDC my Farmer:

I don't bother to use it with the HAIII finish.

I am slightly biased though as i hate lanyards and anything hanging from my SAK's and MT's  >:D.  And how could you allow keys to wear off that beautiful blue.  :D

So you just have your SAK on its own or in a Sack-up then? The thing is I've never really EDC'd a SAK, its always been a MT, so thats why its a bit tricky deciding how its gonna be carried ???

As to the paint wearing off, I've bought another Blue so I wouldn't cry if I had it scratched :D  But I know what you mean, keys are a nasty for destroying stuff in your pocket. My mobile phone looks as if its been to war its that mangled up by my keys, and I've only had it for a year :(

I just carry mine in my pockets mate, no Sack-up or anything.  But I do make sure it has it's own pocket to stop it getting too dinged up.

Here's how I EDC my Farmer:

Unless I am mistaken, the credif for the very attractive and functional slipsheath goes to Mike (Mike22766 on KnifeForums). I have 2 of these in black and love them. One holds a Farmer and another one a vintage red alox  Pioneer.

If I had a free pocket I might do that, but my pockets are full to the brim each day :(

Just remembered I have one of these...  :pok:  http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd137/cryptrick/11057.jpg
I might try using that on my belt or something then as you're right, keys would destroy it wouldnt they :(

You are correct, sir.  Mike really does a great job on those--they fit like a glove!  I love the way they "clam shell" around the open end and protect the entire knife.

I have another one that fits Cadets and Lumberjacks.

Since I'm stuck here in Washington I needed a little knife for edc. I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank if I lost it. I went over to Target today and bought a Cadet. I already have a few at home, but this knife is just perfect for an edc backup knife. It also works great as a necker.

Nah it's because I have a very weird, near pathological hatred of thing resting in my pockets >:(. litterally by entire edc is suspended either from my belt or belt loops, none of it loose in my pockets :ahhh Yes I am a little weird :D

Actually, I'm with you, Mick. The only thing I carry in my pockets is money. I got a Safariland belt loop key carrier http://www.safariland.com/product.aspx?pid=169S it's long enough where my Cybertool is about 1/2" down into my front right pocket, but it doesn't rest on/in the bottom of the pocket. I feel no weight, yet the Cybertool's there when I need it. This is the first time I'm EDC'ing like this and I like it a lot more than hanging a big honking m/t on my belt.(what?! sacrilege!!  ;) )

But...it only has the manicure tool...

Are you all mad?

I love my manicure tools as much as the next barely presentable savage, but how in any sane man's mind is it a preferable tool to the mighty reamer?

Sure, it's a pretty enough knife, but when was the last time someone shouted

"Hey, We needs a poker over here!" (Deep, Baritone voice that makes the ground rumble)

"No Worries, I have a manicure tool!" (Benner)
