Just a 2004 style Wave. I actually found this place in the search for replacing that one. Ended up getting another one, second hand, from a Dutch Ebay-like site. Gave that to my (now ex-)girlfriend, though.

I think I had:

Leatherman:
Skeletool CX and Surge

Wenger:
Evo S17
Eloxy 21
Forester
Commander Snife Waves

Victorinox:
Camper

And a few single bladed fixed and folding knives.

I bought an Alox Bantam and a Wenger SI within two days after my first post from a fellow member. Now I have a few more.

I don't have any of my pics of some of them. I believe Dunc years ago posted some before I joined here of my OH Swisstool.
Other tools I did own or did own before MTO are a Swisstool, swiss spirit, Super time keeper, Flik, ct 41, ct34, VOHT, fireman, executive and rambler.

As someone who came over from SOSAK I already had a good supply of Victorinox SAKs (and a Wenger IIRC), but as for pliers based MTs I only had a LM Supertool and PST.

It's just possible I have a few more than that now.

Before here I only had a couple of cheap crappy ones. I found this place while looking for reviews on the MP800.

I got my first in 2004, a Gerber MP400. Number two came in 2011 and was a Leatherman Wave.

Before MT.O, I had:

-few swisschamp
-LM Charge TTi ( a few of them)
-LM Wave
-LM squat PS4

And since I joined, I have developed some form of SAKaholism and the collection had been growing rapidly since then.  :D

my first was a blue Spartan that I've had for years. More recently but before joining MTO I had a Cybertool 29 and a Kick which I sold to buy a Wave. Then I found MTO and the idea of putting a Rebar head in the Wave (but I didn't join at that point because I thought it was a US centred forum) so bought a SH Rebar on British Blades to do the swap. Then I eventually joined MTO and thanks to you smurfs enablers my collection has grown a bit  :multi:

Great thread idea. I had none, zip, zero, nada. When I bought my house I started looking for a multi-tool, and I found this site while doing research on which one was "best." I ended up with a Leatherman Wave, which has served me very well. But I was fascinated by everything being discussed here, and it wasn't long before I had a Skeletool, Vic Adventurer, Super Tinker, Wenger Teton, PowerLock, MP600, ... :-D

Sent from my mobile device.

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

My multitool timeline before mto

originally I bought a pst and not long after a pst 2 , gave the pst to a friend and lost the pst 2
I got a couple gerbers a multi lite and a mp 400 I don't remember happens too. I also bought my fist sak and the 2nd both Wenger 97 soldier I still own and a handyman I traded.
next i think was the pulse and a super tool the pulse was stolen and I grifted the super tool to a freind

a Gerber suspension i broke the same day i upgraded to a wave :)

then i joined mto
