I have 2 red Minichamps with a retractable pen and tooth pick, but after seeing all the pictures in this thread I am going to get on Ebay and order a silver alox Minichamp and leather pouch.

Thanks for all the great posts!

I also have 2 Minichamps, each with a retractable pen (pretty sure that mine have tweezers instead of toothpicks).  Although the tweezers have come in handy in the past, it has been several years since I had to use the tweezers while away from home.  I have had an ongoing internal debate (usually after seeing alox Minichamp photos) whether to switch to the alox Minichamp and continue to stick with my status quo by the narrowest margin (losing the tweezers had tipped the scales against alox in the past).

The Pioneer X is my first and only alox SAK and I love the way it looks and handles.  I am pretty sure that my next alox purchase will be the Minichamp.

Just got done ordering a silver alox Minichamp with leather pouch. Now I will be like a kid waiting for Christmas to get here. LOL

Congratulations!

You got it done while I have been over-thinking whether to purchase the alox Minichamp or not.   :)

Minichamp comes with the retractable pen and tweezers as standard... Although vic does provide the toothpick in the box. That way, depending on personal preference, you can carry either.

If a thinner Minichamp is desired and the lack of scales tools isn't a deal breaker, I'd say get the alox version...

I like both versions. For use, the red one on my keychain (with tweezers and pen), and for showing off, the alox in a belt sheath.

Time to joint this big 'little' club!

I absolutely love this knife. Reading a lot of posts here I find it a kind a funny that I carry a larger SAK (Handyman) in my pocket as EDC and keep a MiniChamp II on my desk.
It's like the world upside down, haha.

It's a great manicure tool, but the blades also see good use. When in a pinch the pen will do for writing notes and I even used the ruler on a regular basis.
This MiniChamp has also been used to do a lot of work on computers and components. That philips screwdwriver is awesome.
Another use for the cuticle pushes is use it as a spatula spoon.

You can't go wrong with a minichamp, that's why I carry two in my car key, and home key :)

There's only one slot for toothpick and tweezers in the MiniChamp. They're both in the box when you buy a new one. But you'll have to choose which one to carry. I always take the tweezers. With the MiniChamp at hand, all I need is a little wood and I'll carve a few disposable toothpicks (or get some blackthorn needles). But try carving some tweezers (it ain't easy).  :D

I offered one of my Minichamps to my wife (figuring I would just replace one of mine with an alox Minichamp) but she preferred to stay with her classic to limit weight.  I have a Minichamp II on each of my key rings (one for each car).  These are great little tools that punch way above their weight!

When camping I carve a lot of disposable goods, but I never made toothpicks.I'll give that a go as soon as I'm back in the woods.

I think the green scales look very classy. I'll have to order some new ones because now I have a Classic fooling around naked.

That green looks very, very nice.
I almost regret liking the pen in my MiniChamp, if I didn't I'd swap them out for green ones too.

How do you remove the scales without damage? Do they snap back on without issues?

The scales on my MiniChamp were already damaged. The green ones come from a new Classic, I pried them off with the small blade of my Tourist, starting on the side of the t&t slots. They came of unscathed, and popped right into place on the (cleaned  up) MiniChamp, no problems. No vise needed, just hand pressure.

I keep mine on a keychain hook that's easy to remove. Due to the tools on it, it allows me greater flexibility with my larger SAK carries. I don't have to worry that I'll be without scissors or a nail file etc if I'm carrying a Spartan or Tinker, for instance. Great little knife!

Mine are also on an easy to attach and remove locking hook.

More than one series, I think.
Mostly Classics, but a couple of MiniChamps.
No logos on the circular pattern series.
