I'll have to dig mine out after work, but I've found it to have a perfect place in the bottom of my go-bag. Accompanied by a medium sized fixed blade, It covers the rest of my cutting, scraping, poking, tweezer-ing, writing tasks!
"Have yourself a nice long rest and be back here in twelve minutes."
"All the good times, that's what I'll remember. I think there were three."

Nice.  I’ve been considering these scales.  What did you use for attaching them?

Got myself a MiniChamp alox because the regular one felt a bit thick in my 5th pocket.

Immediately reworked the cuticle pusher to a chisel like I did on my other MiniChamp.

That chisel is a good idea. I must admit, though, I mostly use the cuticle pusher/cocaine spoon as an earwax removal tool. Gross, yes. But surprisingly effective...

Interesting use Charles... I guess I'll not try that with mine now  :o

Anyhow, I use the chisel often enough  :salute:

I've modified the file on all of my MP600s to have a scraper blade like that, so it's a solid idea which I may replicate. Did you use a press to flatten the spoon first?

Charles.

I just gave it an edge with a chisel like (steeper) angle. Used my 29€ wanna-be Dremel free hand while sitting on the ground.
I do have a bit of metal work experience though and a steady hand (mostly).
Polished it off a bit with Micro Mesh pads.
That's all.

I do like the slight round/hollow profile  :salute:

Hammer...
Seriously, these fit snugly.  Brandon says that you can use epoxy, for a more "permanent" application.

Went to Brandon's Etsy page, to order  set of the brown micarta scales, but they were all sold.

What's a guy to do?  :dunno:

Guess I'll try out the Orange G-10.  :tu:

I can pare it with my orange CASE stockman.

Cool.  I have a couple other pairs of his scales which fit by pressing, but on the website these said glue or epoxy was needed.  Glad to hear it wasn’t necessary.

Couple years back, I pestered him so much for a tread pattern, till he finally came up with one.  They fit as well as the regular scales on one of my Deluxe Tinkers.

Figured that a couple new sets for my MiniChamps were in order.
They don't improve the overall thickness, though, but they do look good...
I don't miss the scale tools either.  Any M/C's that I carry have the pin scale removed and replaced with either another front scale or a back scale from a doner classic.
Been looking at a stainless set,  https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222353274322   ,but was concerned about the overall strength afterwards.

I have a couple of his scales.  The blue treads were on my Yeoman until I replaced them with the WWP adaptive sports scales.  Now, they’re on a compact.

I'd love to see Brandon do a treads pattern for a MiniChamp.
With his new setup, maybe...

I've been debating a mini champ. Do you all find the deduction of the tweezers and toothpick on the alox version a downside?

It's kind of funny... I've replaced the pen scales, on all of my MiniChamps just so that I'd have a toothpick and tweezer.   In all these years, I've only used tweezers 3 times. Toothpick may be another story,  but I'm really liking the Alox.

My Midnite MiniChamp doesn't have the toothpick and tweezers either since it has a white LED and a pen in the scales.
I started a thread about it and showed my solution below.  Also comment #14 in the thread shows another solution from a different website:
