I just got my first Minichamp today. It is the coolest wee knife ever. I sharpened the regular and wharncliffe blades to a proper thinner angle, and they’re now razors.  Can’t wait to use all the tools.

No I've been wanting one for years. That's one of the things that attracted me to the Wenger Pocket Tool Chest.

I might have to grab a pocket tool chest and another minichamp and see about combining them.

Some of the neatest 58mm mods I've seen are when they add a 91mm reamer/awl. That would be more useful then the 65mm awl in my opinion.

Not 100% Mini Champ related, but here’s my Ramb-awl-er. I can’t remember who made it, but I bought here on the forum.

I searched so I could give credit for the Ramb-awl-er. It was made by RickinFL.  I take credit for the name. :)

I love this thing!!  :like:

I might get another one...  :D

BTW, a question to owners of the cellidor version:

Are the liners on the cellidor version of the minichamp all nickel/silver too or are they aluminium?

I haven’t seen one with aluminum liners yet. None of mine are.

I hope they don’t or haven’t switched them to aluminum. It seems they’d get way too thick!

Aluminum liners on classics are annoying enough.

Great  :tu:

I'm thinking on getting a cellidor one too, but was afraid the liners was aluminum as it's not sturdy enough on a 58mm size.

I'm still biting myself not to get a backup alox one.... don't know if i'll succeed though...

I love these things. Over the last 2 weeks i used it 10 times more than my 93/91mm's

Picked up another MiniChamp, for my birthday, earlier this month.  Ordered a set of carbon fiber scales to dress it up a bit.
Now I'm looking for a pouch.
Anyone know where to find a decent one that'll fit the MC?

:like:. Vic sells a pouch specifically for the Minichamp.  It's leather and is nicely made.

Not sure that it would hold a MC, even if it was in stock.  I know that Victorinox had a belt pouch for them, but I can only find them on eBay, coming from Russia.  Definitely don't feel like spending $25.00 + shipping to get one.

Got back from the Drs, yesterday, and dug out an old kit sheath that I had carried a Barlow in.  Took it apart and cut it down to size.  Don't look pretty, but I now know what to do.  It'll work for one of the beaters.   New one should cost me under $10.00.  (Now I really wish I knew how to carve  leather, for a fancy one.)
