Rather good El Cheapo .

I just bought a Milwaukee Fastback flip knife . Scales are FRN , liners are stainless . It locks both open and closed . In the closed position , the button has to be pushed , and the blade can be deployed ; to close , the liner lock is released . Pricepoint is about Can. $15.97 . I'm a fan of the lock closed feature , not a big fan of blades "creeping " open in my pocket .

The clip is good quality spring steel wire , and is reversible . Out of the box , there was no side or vertical play . Action was smooth . Steel "feels " like 425 or 440 , the knife came shaving sharp out of the box .

In summation , seems like a good jobsite knife , if it gets swept up with the sawdust , or ends up in a cement mixer; no biggie .

Quality seems comparable to Spyderco Byrd knives .

That is actually a pretty nice looking knife.

Looks like a very good find. It's a shame more knife companies don't make lock closed designs. I'd find it way more useful that all those fast deploy systems.

I quite like it . Can't find anything to crit . at the pricepoint . I like lock closed , once got a nasty cut from a Linerlock that had crept open .

They also make a hawkbill , probably intended for the electrical side of the house .

Of late , I've become of their hand tools , they make probably the best Tape measure I've ever worked with . Their pliers and cutters work well . They make a really good " waterpump " plier for the sparky crowd .
