I would love to Know the amount of units that LM made . Especially the retired models. What is the rarest LM?

There are some extremely rare special edition models. But I assume you mean rarest regular production model? My guess would be the Flair. It wasn't made for very long.  :-\

Well the fact that it is uncommon and yours is new in the box makes it worth a bit more in my opinion.  :)

I would agree that the Flair is probably the hardest to come by, you just don't see them come round very often, and hardly ever new and boxed. I'd say that's a very fair price for what's in the picture there.

After that, maybe the Sideclip? I know I had trouble finding one in decent condition, then I found 8 - brand new :D I sold most of them on to finance my habit, only have a couple left now. I think I maybe flooded the market here in the UK - lol.
I used to come here a lot.

I got a Flair that was NIB for about $70. I had to fight for it on eBay too. Haha

Now now. Whip it out and show your buddies the spreader knife. Get them to try to figure out what it is!

Yeah, but on what occasion am I going to be using it? If I go to a nice restaurant, what am I going to do whip out my Flair?

I got this one on ebay australia on 13/5 waiting on paypal . I got it for around $72us delivered. I was a bit concerned paying that much for a MT that will not see much use . I had just printed out Benner's LM timeline & had highlighted  the retired tools , which is what I am after & saw the NIB flair on oz ebay & set my limit at $40then$50, then you get the picture  :)
