I suppose these are the two most obvious ways of having a flashlight on your MT, but they look pretty hopeless.

Yes, also kind of pointless to have the flashlight shine at the opposite and of where you are working. Actually I only remember one tool (ok, maybe the Fit too) that had this integration of a flashlight really thought out. Tekut something something that had a flashlight pointing towards the pliers and one towards the tools opened.
