Any problems with the forum software since Wednesday evening, Thursday morning for you guys?

I've had a few instances where after doing an edit or posting a reply I'm not returned to the topics after posting but instead got a blank page with a data:, in the url field. Anyone experience those too?

We had a problem with a link to the stats not working but that was fixed.

I got on a few days ago (not sure when)  and I clicked "Show unread posts since last visit."

there were 2 pages of threads.

I read 2 threads, and then clicked "Show unread posts since last visit." again, and it showed no unread threads.

not a big deal, but since you are looking to see if anything is wrong, any issue may be important.
If I can help, let me know

BTW, this only happens occasionally, fairly rarely in fact, but it does happen. If you did have those errors, can you tell me what browser and what OS you're using? Thanks.

I recommend using this as your bookmark for those. The "Show unread posts since last visit." doesn't show all unread threads, just the ones unread from your last visit. ;) When I'm done reading all the ones I'm interested in I click mark forum read and the next time I click the link below, I only get new threads. Makes it easier to follow what's happening and not miss out on anything interesting. :D

thanks!  that explains how I could post something, and nothing was new for hours, then suddenly, there is a new addition, but  when I opened it, there was 8 or more new entries.

If I can help, let me know

I had a screen with ASCII codes and data appear once a couple of days ago, but I do not remember on what windows version or on what browser it happened.

Apparently there are no messages I left unread. The truth is that there are plenty of them. It just happened and this is the first time I ever had any problems with MTO's software.

If you're using the button at the top of the forum: it's unread messages since your last visit. Things you didn't read at your last visit don't show up there ;)

About the show all unread posts, Detron asked to have it added to the top menu but I forgot we already have it at the bottom of the screen. :D

If you click the Show unread posts since last visit., there is a All unread posts at the bottom of the list. This will lead you to, well, all unread posts. ;)

based on location, I thought that was to mark them as Unread, since it is beside the mark all as read.

thank you!!!   sounds great!

Thanks guys. It seems my MTO browsing history was reset. Now I can see all recent unread posts/topics whereas before I could see some very old ones. Maybe I accidentally clicked on Mark As Read   :salute:

My unread  posts went from 4 pages to only the very recent ones just by looking at them, leaving a post and then coming back. Same thing happened two days ago. I'm sure I didn't mark them as read neither time.

I can see the All Unread Posts using your link. However, it won't appear using my account for some reason. :salute:

Well if you click the "Show unread posts since last visit." on top next to your avatar, it will show you unread posts from your last visit, not all of the unread ones. ;)

The link I posted can be found at the bottom right of the Show unread posts page (ALL UNREAD TOPICS)

we did just update the software, it may have caused some gremlins to appear, I have just run maintenance and optimization routines and cleared the server cache, hopefully that sorted it.
