That's for sure - I would have loved that red MP600, but I guess I'll just keep looking (also for the yellow and tan versions too !).... (but two dark green MP600's showed up at my house yesterday)

Yeah, sounds like I got real lucky. That will be my first colored mp600 and I have been looking for that multilite for years. Score
But the SOS kit with short, det, sog, and charge are all great deals. I was tempted...

What was the problem with finding one ? Gerber multi-Lites are pretty common on eBay (but usually with some weird name/description as the sellers don't know what they are called).  Unfortunately most are missing the extra loose tools in the small compartment (tweezers etc).  Here's a brand new one (but bidding seems to be pretty enthusiastic at $ 36.00 and there's still 23 + hours left to go)

I have a love hate relationship with eBay. Lately I don't use it but I used to. However I don't save searches often. I should but I just don't. I have had some real lemon tools come to me from eBay.
I think that is a good price, especially for the version with the saw. I thought the saw version was less common.
