My collection (pic lite!)

I have been filling in application forms this morning on my day off so naturally I took a break to photograph my knives!

Here is my small but perfectly formed collection;

Farmer, SI, Huntsman and EDC Explorer;

I like that SI a lot because I love the look of bails on a knife.

Very nice, I need to add an Explorer to my collection. Now, all you need to do is add a couple 58mm...then an Executive to represent 74mm....a few 84mm...a 111mm or two...

Missing is a small Wenger or Vic (Rambler or Micro Tool Chest), an Executive, and a 2-3 layer, 84/85mm Wenger or Vic.

Agreed, though I do have a classic on my key ring. I've built my collection up slowly and carefully as I don't have money to spare for unnecessary (

) stuff. I've traded for all of these and the only SAK I ever bought was a Vic Soldier when I was flush once. The only addition I think I would make is a Spirit or Swisstool.

SAK's are the only thing I think I would collect though - all the varieties have their own particular strengths.

My perfect SAK would be my Explorer with a wood saw.

all very nice SAKs and a great collection. my 1st alox was a farmer, its something about that Vic saw. I agree with FBH on the SI with bail as i too enjoy the look of the bail. thanks for sharing

Cheers! I think the bail should be added to all the SAK's the way they used to be. It's so useful and IMO comfortable to carry - the Farmer could be improved with a bail.
