I found this while buying Plierenches.  GripNStik,  model 707.
The jaw is geared to move together with each squeeze of the handles.  Not really a multi, but definitely collectible.  I'm pretty sure Bob has at least one of these.

hang on, have they got plier-like handles but an adjustable wrench type head?

Yup, rack and pinion style mechanism so pliers jaws are always parallel. Nice catch Yadda  :tu:

The gripnstik was manufactured in Ohio and patented after the first Plierench patent.
Plierenches were made in the same general area. Similar look....
