Help with identifying Wenger
on: November 09, 2013, 01:42:25 PM
Hi guys! I noticed a nice looking Wenger SAK on the swedish equivalent to Ebay, but there's no name given for the model and no photos available where you can actually see the tools. Anyone here recognize it?

Any thoughts on if it's worth getting for around 70-80 USD?

Hello,
seems like the "Champ"

It is a pretty common model, and in my opinion the price you quoted is too high.
With little patience, you can find them brand new for 30-40 euros

Looks like a Wenger Toolchest or an original Matterhorn, If its a Matterhorn I would buy it.

Hmm... the seller says that "this type is rare" and the "Buy now" price is set at 110 euro (roughly 150 USD). But that doesn't necessarily mean much.

So it could be a Champ, but from the looks of it, it could also be a Matterhorn Original... right? Hmmm...

Not a Matterhorn, last picture shows the nail file, not a small knife. I'd say Champ.

Good eye, I just looked at my Matterhorns and they have a noticeable angle on the small blade, The toolchest has a different magnifier
