Gerber Center Drive Questions
on: January 06, 2024, 04:01:25 AM
One thing I like very much about my MP600 is how sloppy it is. Those loose tolerances right out of the box. My question is, is the Center Drive the same way? Are its interior tools as easy to access as the MP600? Does the Center Drive still have that rattle quality to it?

Not to the same degree.  The tolerances are slightly closer, and you get a few less tools with the Center Drive.  It's definitely not as tight as anything in the Leatherman lineup.

The Gerber Center-Drive is designed with precision and has tighter tolerances compared to the MP600. It doesn't have the same "rattle" quality and is known for its more precise and sturdy build. The interior tools in the Center-Drive are accessible, but they may not have the same level of "sloppiness" you find in the MP600.

Not as Loose as an MP600 but not as tight as a Leatherman
