Picked up a Gerber Shortcut for USD12.

Had to open it up and bend the backspring of the philips and flat as it injured my nails just trying to deploy the tool. I plan to assign the scissors to a kit so all tools should be useable with slick/slippery fingers. I had to sharped the blade as well. 

Scissors work fine - it just has a very very very wide handle splay.  It also has a pinch potential if closed the wrong way.

Not bad for USD12 for a pair of scissors you can pocket — I’d rather get one of these than a generic China tool. 

Closest pair of scissors I can think off at this price point are 1. Generic trauma scissors 2. Second hand 58mm SAK 3. Swisscard Scissors

Gerber MP1. Good tool, my beater along with the MP-400

I use the chisel frequently and had it resharpened a couple of times.

My mom asked me about a small shelf made of reclaimed wood (peroba rosa). So I made one for her.

Just been on vacation for a week and my ever faithful Dime provided a knife for opening shells, a cap lifter for numerous cold beverages, and tweezers to remove a splinter.

I even bought another Dime while I was away, at a shop closing down sale.

There may be better, but the Dime has never let me down in what might be 8 years!

Still not a fan of carbide cutters, and I still have mixed opinions on spring-loaded pliers (which normally I avoid), but the Center Drive even beats my ST300 when it comes to a cold-weather use tool, as it's completely OHO with its main tools, even with heavy gloves.

I think that if you deal with nuts and bolts often, then this is a good MT to carry. I don't use it often, for I find needlenose pliers more useful for me at work and I carry a Knipex Cobra 125mm in my pocket all the time. But I do grab my DualForce when assembling stuff
