Just remember that’s a Chinese made Gerber and can’t hold a candle to the US made Gerbers

Yeah well, a few minutes handling the Dime made it clear why the price is so low... doesn't feel like a keeper.

I'll just make sure the big one doesn't self destruct, and then put it in my wife's car kit.

Hi Jack, Don’t write of the Dime that quickly. It is very inexpensive, but that doesn’t mean it is utter garbage. I carried and used mine every day last month or so during the challenge and it did surprisingly well.

I'll second that, on both your new Gerbers Jack.  They're tough little tools.

I also have a Dime and a Suspension NXT. The Dime has been through hell and back, and while it's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, it's perfectly okay for what it is. The Suspension NXT lives in my paracord tools box, and it has decent scissors and pretty good pliers. I'm just not the biggest fan of the combo edge blade.

I bought the Suspension NXT from Walmart and I think virtually immediately ended up trading it off for another knife. I have a number of Sheffield PST clones sticking around in vehicles and farm equipment, and even those are better than the Suspension.

LST--the recent remake.

First brick and mortar close to me to have them was Sam's Club--in a three pack with the Air Ranger (in G-10 instead of that terrible aluminum!) and Paraframe I.

I've been carrying it for over a month, and I've been pretty impressed. Feather weight, slim, and just over 3.5" closed (my favorite size).  Unlike the originals, it has a nice clip and can be opened with one hand.

The MPs were popular with Sailors when I served. (And, insofar as I'm aware, we all had to pay for them out of pocket.) So, as a nod to my service, the MP400 rode along today.

The Armbar Drive couldn't tag along on the run to Detroit, but it accompanied me for much of the rest of the day.

:hatsoff: It's been pretty decent so far. The only real knock I have against it is that the bit is kinda rattly.

I usually carry my Gerber EAB during the week at work.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I might be crazy but it's kept me from going insane- Waylon Jennings
