I’ve seen several posts regarding EDC (and I mean that literally, not in the oft used, EDC = in a rotation) of the Surge, bit extender, and Streamlight MicroStream.  Here’s another vote for that set-up.  I have carried that combo for about a year now, and I can consider no better all-around package to deal with anything you may encounter that doesn’t require a toolbox. 

That’s gonna leave a mark.

It is a great combo for sure :cheers: If I carry one of the heavier tools I guess I still prefer the Supertool 300 over the Surge :think: I do carry a Surge some still though, myself :tu:
