Well I just snapped my BO Surge pocket clip in half and in the process the corner piece where the screw is held in is now wobbly.  :facepalm:

I’m not sure how bad yours is but I have two surges and those pieces all have had play in them from new. I think it’s a surge thing my wave is ok. How bad is it?

I think ALL clips on Surges are wobbly without some sort of modification.

The clip wobble doesn't bother me, but it would if the clip were falling off and dropping the Surge into my pocket. It hasn't happened yet. :)

my Surge has always had a wobbly clip. After the first time it got caught on something the clip wobbled much worse and “drifted” to one side a lot more. Then I snapped it in half after I caught it on something and there is a piece on my Surge that has developed wobble now. It’s not the clip.

The issue I have noted is the space between the handle and lower bolster. It is about 1/32" on mine. Doesn't seem like a lot, but the effect shows when the clip is used. The clip on mine moves about 3/8" side to side, but it doesn't seem to affect the usage for me.

Yep it's the space the clip goes into, there have been a few mods using shims of metal glued in or even magnets. I think Kev did one....  :think:

Hello!  New around here, been lurking around. Decided on a Surge for my first Leatherman.  So far I am pleased and can't wait to be able to utilize it!
