Greetings from Central New York

Hello everyone. I've been browsing the forum for awhile now and I finally decided to join. I received a Victorinox Tinker in 1988 and have been carrying some sort of pocket knife ever since.

Welcome to the forum! We seem to have quite a few members on the east coast so you`ll probably feel right at home!
The Tinker is a great, and much overlooked model. I like it quite a bit myself, and I know of at least one other member here who swears by it. Lots of function in a small package- how can you argue with that?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I've pretty much always owned at least one Tinker, and I've gifted quite a few. I'm currently carrying a black Alox Pioneer, purchased during my recent SAK buying spree.

If you are a SAK freak, you also need to check out
www.SOSAKOnline.com
, the homepage of the Secret Order of Swiss Army Knives, which is currently the world`s largest SAK enthusiast and collector organization.
Also, have a look at the new custom HAIII Farmers.... a tough knife made even tougher!

I just put in my request to join the SOSAK sub-forum on Knifeforums earlier tonight. I think you had signed off by the time I posted though.
I was checking out those HAIII Farmers, but I just bought a couple regular Farmers on Amazon. It will have to wait until next payday.

More than I can count, with more coming almost daily... why, is there something wrong with that?
