I would love to see a mid size knife with bright orange handles. Has there ever been such a knife?   :climber:

As far as I'm aware there has never been any factory produced ones.  I can't say that 100% though.  For instance I've seen two 84mm Vics. in purple, one I was able to grab :)

There have of course been modded ones in orange G10.

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I think orange is an option for special and/or corporate orders! Anyway, count me in for some 91mm orange scales ( non translucent)

Wenger had "mandarin orange" translucent scales on Esquire 16126 65-mm model, also called "Translucent 622".

As far as I know, orange not translucent сellidor never was issued by Vic or Wen. To 99% :)

Modded orange G10 SAK scales make, for example, by cuscadi.de. And some others...

Look here: http://blog.cuscadi.de/?p=1292

Orange scales do exist. I recently saw a listing on ebay that had a tinker or spartan with solid orange scales that had a company name on one side. Perhaps they are special order only.

I wish i could find it again to post a photo.

There are translucent orange Minichamps and Ramblers on the big auction sites from time to time, but I've never seen any other orange, solid or otherwise, on anything bigger than the 58mm models.

Both small and large Vics and Wengers show up regularly in orange, but intermediate (85mm-91mm) models are scarce. There are the Wenger Blaze Orange models.

Thanks for the reply.

You have a lot of Orange SAKs.

Do you have an idea how much the smaller orange Classics and Esquires sell for?

Thanks in advance.

I bought them years ago when they were current production. Don't know what they would go for nowadays.

Here's an orange thread that came out about a year ago.

I just bought a new ORANGE Victorinox classic at auction.  Its an advertiser for Snap-On tools and kind of cool.  I am selling it on eBay as I write.  Go over to eBay and take a look.

The best way to tell if this knife is red is to compare it to a RED knife.

1) Download one of these picture(s) to your computer

2) On your computer, use MS-Paint or similar software to join the downloaded picture to a red knife

3) Compare color of the knives side by side

Give it a try.

As snap on´s colour is bright red, I´d bet the classic is red, too.
Nonetheless - I like orange scales.

I have one of these and the color seems more like salmon to me. They are very hard to photograph due to the silver leaf foil stamping. Here are a couple of my photos;

I won a lot of five translucent Classics on the Bay yesterday. Orange was amongst them, along with blue, yellow, purple, and red. I'll post pics when they get here.
