"Why won't it bend"?

So, my boss and I are over at our new building starting to run all the Cat6, etc. At one point I need to do some prying. I pull out my Spirit X.

Boss: "Don't use that, you'll just bend the Smurf out of your little tool"

Me: "No I won't" *rams Spirit driver/opener/prybar into slot*

Boss: "um, ok...I'll get you a real screwdriver."

Me: *yanks with my full 260 lbs body weight*

Boss: "How the Frak are you not bending the Smurf out of your tool right now?"

Me: "Victorinox."  *Yanks again*

Boss: "Well ok then" *walks away*

Don't get to carried away with your prying.

I bent the large flat pry tool on my swisstool last week.

I had to put it in a vise to straighten it.

The one on the Spirit is heftier than both the ones on the Swisstool.

Kinda strange that the Spirit has a thicker cap lifter than its larger counter part, but i'm not complaining.

I have a spirit but not a swisstool. I knew the driver is actually an intentional pry tool, called a 'crate opener' or something like that, I believe. I DIDN'T know it was beefier than anything on the Swisstool.

I do think the crate opener could withstand anything I could throw at it.

When I got my first Spirit, one of the first things I noticed was how crazy thick the opener is compared to the Swisstool. It's one of the reasons I like the Spirit so much more. It's amazing how much capability Vic crammed into that little package.

It's actually not the first time I've introduced him to the multitool light. He just refuses to believe . I have more than once come back to my desk to find him fiddling admiringly with one of my multis. I'll wear him down eventually  :D
