Happy Veterans Day to all!

Mods, please move this if I've posted in the wrong area, I just wanted the most views possible. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served in their country's armed forces. Also a huge thanks to those who did not wear a uniform but showed their support in some way or had a friend or family member who served.  One does not have to wear a uniform to deserve thanks and this Veteran's Day is for you as well.  My most sincere appreciation to all mentioned above. :salute:

Yes, thank you to all that have served, are serving, or helped out in any ways possible.  We have quite a few active and retired members here, and I salute you all for what you have done.

Thank you to the fallen, you have given the ultimate sacrifice so we can live life as we know it.  You shall never be forgotten!

The wife and I went for a walk and ride(her in her wheelchair) and bumped into a vet in the parking lot, I saw the military hat he was wearing, well we went over to him and thanked him for his services and I shook his hand. He thanked me and you could see it in his face, the shock that someone would even do so let alone look at him, yet at the same time you could see the tears starting to form, for a second I thought he was going to give me a hug, which I've done before with a complete stranger vet. I never served do to medical but why can't others appreciate what they did for us and just thank them, just 10sec out of their day.. JR
