If you feel obligated to explain that 'leatherman' is a specific company, not the generic name for 'plier based multitool', or if you need to tell someone that a 'Leatherman' is not a tool for leather working.

...if you put away your multitools after fiddling with them, sit down, and realize that one of your fingers is bleeding. You chalk it up as just another day. (I suppose this could be said about knife collectors too).

....... you can't bear to carry a Multitool in the 'wrong' pouch !
I'm not a big fan of pouches, and finding 'the one' is as tricky as finding the perfect tool, but i tried to mix and match tools and pouches from different manufacturers (some fit rather well)... and i just can't do it :ahhh
i know nobody will judge me, most people wouldn't know the difference or spot a Leatherman in a Vic pouch or a SOG resting in a Buck sheath but it just feels so wrong  :facepalm:

Use the bottle opener even though it's a twist cap just so you could use it.

I don't think I ever used to bottle opener on a plier based MT to open a bottle... Always just used to side of the pliers to pop the top of  :P

You may have a multitool problem if your first thought to that SAK was ... "I wonder if the mag glass lens is plastic or the new glass one?"
