So is that color not a +B thing anymore?

Is'nt it the old Cadet with key ring? Think the shade of orange is a little different from the new one.

The number was the same as the last run of the orange ones with keyring, 53048, and the orange on them was this.

They area all gone.  But I bought quite a few and have some going to the USA, Malaysia, and Oz.  I can add Serbia to the list, but I can't send out for a few months as I won't have the cadets for another month or so.  This will be ~$20 plus shipping (average price I go them for + the MTO commission :P ).

This will be the last one I can share.  The rest will be local gifts or shelf queens.

Cheers!

Thank you very much, I was just wondering for a friend who wants one, I already have an orange one, with and without keyring :) It's a great price, and if for nothing else, it's great to buy a few and do some mods  :climber:

I received my orange Cadet from Swiss Outpost this morning and I have to say that`s a pretty quick service given the time of year. Before putting it next to the others in my collection I had a quick play and discovered that the caplifter tool does not have the half-stop detent like most other SAKs I have. It`s not a big deal but the only other Cadet like this is my oldskool CadetII with the small blade instead of the nail file. This suggests that these are NOS and has anyone else noticed this?

All of my older Cadets with the keyring lack a half-stop on the cap lifter, including hunter green, olive green and orange. Something tells me it's the same with all of the older models. The 5 Colors Limited Edition ones as well as my limited run purple all have a half-stop

They changed the design of the bottle opener about a year ago and added a half stop. As these were made before that they don't have it. I believe I started the thread about it. I'll try to find it. :salute:

Based on a couple reports now, it looks like SwissOutpost got the model number wrong.  They only had the Autumn Orange, and Overstock had the bright Orange models.  Based on the design of the tools reported here, it definetly looks like NOS clearing, not new runs.

I ordered from Swissoutpost and I'm still waiting  :(
I guess the German customs people are giving my Cadets some pocket time:

"Hey Herman! Check out this new SAK!"
"Crazy colour! What is that, a SwissBianco?"
"No, American limited edition, 2007 I think."
"Why do they get all the cool colours? In Europe, What do we get? Pink cellidor. WTF. Who wants a pink cellidor Cadet?"
"Says here this thing cost $15"
"No way. It's a limited edition. $150 is what they mean."
"Sooo. import tax on two Autumn Orange Cadets... I hate maths. Let's call it 60 Euros."
"Or we could just, you know. Say they got lost in the post. One for me, one for you. What do you think?"
"Ooooh, I don't know..."

That sounds like the conversation in Australian Customs when they find a liner-lock knife with a loose pivot that you could "flick" the blade out...

Some how knives and cool tools have the power to make custom workers get Alzheimer's and forget to deliver them...

Here is a good reference picture for Orange Alox by Alexi.  The color can vary a bit between batches though.  All the ones in the picture have pretty good saturation, some batches are a little lighter.

I was just having a laugh, that was the reason for the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags.

"The shade of my half price orange Cadet isn't the one I was expecting."  Sounds like a classic "1st world problem" joke

Model numbers would be nice on that picture too. ;)
