I received my orange Cadet from Swiss Outpost this morning and I have to say that`s a pretty quick service given the time of year. Before putting it next to the others in my collection I had a quick play and discovered that the caplifter tool does not have the half-stop detent like most other SAKs I have. It`s not a big deal but the only other Cadet like this is my oldskool CadetII with the small blade instead of the nail file. This suggests that these are NOS and has anyone else noticed this?

Something tells me it's the same with all of the older models. The 5 Colors Limited Edition ones as well as my limited run purple all have a half-stop

As these were made before that they don't have it. I believe I started the thread about it. I'll try to find it.
Based on a couple reports now, it looks like SwissOutpost got the model number wrong. They only had the Autumn Orange, and Overstock had the bright Orange models. Based on the design of the tools reported here, it definetly looks like NOS clearing, not new runs.
I ordered from Swissoutpost and I'm still waiting I guess the German customs people are giving my Cadets some pocket time:"Hey Herman! Check out this new SAK!" "Crazy colour! What is that, a SwissBianco?""No, American limited edition, 2007 I think.""Why do they get all the cool colours? In Europe, What do we get? Pink cellidor. WTF. Who wants a pink cellidor Cadet?""Says here this thing cost $15""No way. It's a limited edition. $150 is what they mean.""Sooo. import tax on two Autumn Orange Cadets... I hate maths. Let's call it 60 Euros.""Or we could just, you know. Say they got lost in the post. One for me, one for you. What do you think?""Ooooh, I don't know..."
Got mine from Swissoutpost, and is an Autun Orange, identical shade of the +B Soldier (Pioneer).

I don't think threre is anyone here not enjoying their orange Cadet so i'm not sure what your going on about.
Here is a good reference picture for Orange Alox by Alexi. The color can vary a bit between batches though. All the ones in the picture have pretty good saturation, some batches are a little lighter.(Image removed from quote.)
