Help Identifying Some SAK's
on: December 17, 2013, 04:10:58 PM
I picked these up this weekend, I'm not sure what they are exactly.

Classic Vic in white with Silver pattern

A weird white Vic

A Wenger Silver Alox marked "100 ANS" on the blade.

Any help would be much appreciated!  Thanks

The "weird white Vic" is a Tomo  ;)  According to SAKWiki:

Quote
The Victorinox Tomo is a new look for the Classic created by Japanese designer Kazuma Yamaguchi's ABITAX Design Studio Tokyo.  The 2011 introduction of the Tomo also included the new colors Green Apple and Mint, which further extended the color palette of the Victorinox line. The Tomo was also immediately available in White, Red, Pink, Yellow, and Blue. The word Tomo means friend and companion in Japanese, but has both older and contemporary richer interpretations. Surprisingly the Tomo does not include the ubiquitous toothpickor tweezers tools of the Swiss Army knife.

Yes it is extremely ugly... in person it looks like someone cut it out of a block of white soap and stuck a Vic inside of it.

Wenger did a number of anniversary knives. Yours is the middle one shown below which is the 100th anniversary of the Swiss Army knife, which actually commemorates Victorinox's start.  :D
