Wenger's evowood
on: December 27, 2013, 02:24:16 AM
Wenger advertises that their evowood models are made of Walnut. But recently I've noticed that one  dealer on Ebay advertises that his evowoods are made from Hickory.

Does anyone know about this? Is Wenger making some with Walnut & others with Hickory? What's going on?

I'd say that dealer has it wrong. We don't even have hickory in Europe as far as I know and no sense in importing it for scales with good amount of local wood I think.

You're probably right. I suspect something was lost in the translation since I have found him to be a reliable dealer in SAK's.
